Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (born 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey) is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston. In her early years, she sang in her New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. Its Whitney 1987 release, featuring Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as songs, helped to build on the success she had achieved. It was The Bodyguard 1992 which cemented her reputation as one the most well-known artists in the world. Although the film and the performances of the actress were not well-received, the soundtrack album featuring her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was the most popular single in many months. It sold in excess of 44,000,000 copies worldwide. Also in 1993 that she married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist with whom she bore her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. Her drug addiction began in the middle of 1993 and by 1996, she had been a frequent user.
