Aaliyah Dana Haaughton rose to fame after releasing her debut album Age Ain't Nothing More Than an Number in 1994. Her album, which was released when she only had 15 years old, went Gold. R. Kelly was a significant influence in this project which brought her into the spotlight. In the year 1996, Jermaine Durpri and Timbaland collaborated to produce her second Album One In A Million. This album featured If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the number one. After the debut of the album Aaliyah gained international attention for her performance as an R&B performer. In 2000, she starred alongside the legendary martial artist Jet Li for the film Romeo Must Die. She got this role when she was spotted by the film's producer Joel Silver at an awards ceremony. In 2002 she was in the vampire movie Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. The year 2003 saw her appeared in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is the first generation Indian-American who was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation of her married final name Mankad. However, she uses both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for her professional name. While she started out in film and TV with a few minor performances, her acting career picked up momentum in the mid-2000s. In addition to The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) In addition, she has appeared in commercials of major companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. Her home is with her family in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter and continues to pursue her acting career.
